Burlesque & Heels Workshops with Gooey Gab
After a sold out Burlesque & Hoop Flow workshops in Auckland & Hamilton plus a guest teaching stint at The Chrome Academy’s renowned Summer School Programme in Wellington, our Mother of Angels will be heading to the beautiful Bay Of Plenty to teach not one but two divine workshops this February at Altitude Pole The Mount .
Whether you’re a beginner bebe or a seasoned dancer, wanting to expand on your skills & repertoire, Gab has two offerings for you BOP babes that will teach you some tips & tricks from the signature style Gab has developed through years of professional performance.
Workshops are a great way to get an in depth breakdown of specialist skill sets to help introduce or explore new pathways & styles to your repertoire. With two workshops on offer (detailed below) and the option to book one or both, this is your sign to expand on your skills or try something new…
Burlesque & Bubbles - 80mins - 1:00pm - 15/02/25 - $60pp
Burlesque and bubbles will run for 80 minutes from 1pm & includes a glass of secco on arrival- to help take the edge off 🥂
You’ll learn a slinky selection of titillating techniques that will leave you well versed in the shimmering world of strip-tease performance & provide an instant boost to your confidence 🐍.
Please BYO robe & a thigh-high pair of stockings.
Heels Power - 90mins - 2:30pm - 15/02/25 - $50pp
(eligible for a SWer discount of $5 off)
Heels Power is a high beginner + /open level workshop where you will learn some of Gab’s fave heel stomps and claps which are tried and true attention grabbers elevating your routines to another level with an over-arching sensual theme.
Heels Power will run for 75 minutes and requires some experience (or at least some confidence) in pole style heels- Ideally you’ll be comfortable dancing in them both with and without the support of the pole.
Please BYO pole heels (Pleasers/Hellas or other preferred brand) & knee pads.💥 Heels are compulsory for this workshop.

Hoop Flow Workshops with Gooey Gab

Whether you’re a beginner bebe or a seasoned aerialist, wanting to expand on your flow skills in the air, incorporate heels with the use of a hoop or simply learn some moves from the signature style Gab has developed through years of professional performance, we’d love to have you along for this exclusive and rare workshop.
Workshops are a great way to get an in depth breakdown of specialist skill sets to help introduce or explore new pathways & styles to your repertoire. With two workshops on offer (detailed below) and the option to book one or both, this is your sign to expand on your skills or try something new & oh so fun!
Gab will run two workshops on the 8th of December:
Ethereal Flow - 90mins - 1:30pm - 8/12/24 - $70pp (5 spots left)
Ethereal Flow is an open level workshop where we will strongly focus on creating flow on/in & around the hoop with the use of spin, glide and musicality techniques. Ideally you have some experience on hoop & are comfortable attempting combos with and around your hoop however high level pole dancers are likely to have the right strength and body awareness to attempt the easier combo options in this class if they haven’t done much hoop before. Please reach out directly to Gab via instagram if you are unsure whether this workshop is suited to you. This workshop is a barefoot/socks only class & leggings are highly recommended.
Honey in Heels - 90mins - 3:15pm - 8/12/24 - $70pp (5 spots left)

Honey in Heels is a beginner - open level heels workshop where we will learn a heels flow routine on/in & around the hoop with the use of various techniques and an over-arching sensual theme.
Ideally you have some experience in heels & are comfortable dancing in them both with and without the support of an apparatus. While this is open to beginner hoopers through to advanced, high level pole dancers are likely to have the right strength and body awareness to attempt the easier combo options in this class if they haven’t done much hoop before but are comfortable in heels.
Gab will identify various levels of experience and sub out certain combos for easier/harder ones dependant on this. While leggings & kneepads are highly recommended if you are not used to using taped equipment- you can dress up in as much or as little as you like. Heels are compulsory for this workshop.

Auckland Hoop Workshops with Mia Amor
Join our resident creature Mia Amor when she brings her sought after workshops to Auckland this May! Mia will be presenting two options suitable for all levels of aerial hoop students:
Sensual hoop flow $65pp (SOLD OUT)
Learn one of Mia’s signature hoop flow routines. In this choreography based workshop you will learn how to slink under, through and around the hoop. Heels are optional!!! This class is really beginner friendly, and great for those who want to learn how to dance with the hoop and connect with a more sensual and yummy style of movement.

Signature Spin and Tricks $65pp (4 spots left)
Learn some of Mia’s signature spins, flares, tricks and combos. This class has a focus on learning how to dance your way through your transitions in a way that takes the dance, sensuality and fluidity up the hoop and into the combo. This class is suitable for intermediate hoop students. Message Mia directly on Instagram if you are unsure if you are at this level.
Even if you are a high intermediate to advanced hoop artist/student, you will gain incredible tips from one of Aotearoa’s top aerialists in this unique workshop with NZ’s OG “sexy hoop” artist.

Girls Bleed Techno
In a world of increasing censorship and sanitisation, GIRLS BLEED TECHNO brings you the raw voice behind Aotearoa's Endometriosis movement.
On Friday 19 April, Whammy will play host to New Zealand's finest disc jockeys and biggest advocates of techno, movement, and equitable care for women with endometriosis.
All funds raised for this event will be donated to local endometriosis charities and those fighting to provide quality care in our abandoned public health care system. Because good health should not be a privilege.

On Sunday evening Sep 24 our divine creatures & performers will be docking at the viaduct on board the Sea breeze III, New Zealand’s largest super yacht charter. 105ft long & 4 storeys high the boat is also equipped with its own bar ready to serve delicious cocktails!
We are inviting you to join us on board for an exclusive on dock VIP experience featuring performances from all of our resident creatures, the incredible Patsy Skeet disco queen live DJing & meet/greet and photo opportunities with everyone.
